ExxonMobil Marine Secures $954M Navy Contract for Worldwide Lubrication Support

The Department of the Navy has awarded ExxonMobil Marine a potential $954 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to supply lubricants and provide engineering support services under the Military Sealift Command’s Worldwide Lubrication Program.

Worldwide Lubrication Program Contract Scope

According to the award notice published Monday on SAM.gov, under the firm-fixed-price contract, ExxonMobil Marine will deliver a range of petroleum-based products, including diesel engine oils, marine turbine oils, gear and compressor oils, hydraulic fluids and greases. The company will also provide technical and shipboard engineering support, such as shipboard assistance, technical consultations, troubleshooting services for lubrication-related issues, training and training-related service calls to ensure operational readiness across U.S. Navy and government-chartered vessels worldwide.

The deal also requires global availability and timely delivery of the products in accordance with the schedule outlined in the contract. The award was competitively solicited and includes a five-year base period with five one-year option periods.
