eSimplicity has promoted Edouard “Ed” Benjamin to chief operating officer, while Nam Nguyen has assumed the roles of president and acting chief growth officer, the company announced Friday. The appointments are part of an executive leadership transition to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Who Is Edouard Benjamin?
Benjamin is an IT executive with more than three decades of experience in federal health IT, program delivery and business development. In his new role, he will oversee eSimplicity’s daily operations and align business units and shared services to support growth.
Before his promotion, Benjamin led the company’s Health business as general manager. Earlier, he spent more than a decade at Leidos in leadership roles supporting the Department of Health and Human Services. He also held program management and software engineering positions at SAIC and worked as a principal consultant at Vignette.
Who Is Nam Nguyen?
Nguyen, eSimplicity’s co-founder and former chief operating officer, has transitioned to president and acting chief growth officer, where he will lead the company’s growth strategy, focusing on innovation, market expansion and customer relationships.
Nguyen has more than two decades of experience in federal health IT, digital transformation and business strategy. Before co-founding eSimplicity in 2016, he held leadership roles at CGI and Northrop Grumman, supporting major health IT initiatives for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Department of War and NASA.

eSimplicity founder and CEO AnhThu Nguyen said the company is evolving its leadership structure as it enters its next phase of growth.
“This transition enables faster decision making and positions us to continue growing while staying true to our mission and values,” she said.
The leadership changes come as eSimplicity continues to expand its federal business. In recent months, the company secured a National Institutes of Health contract to modernize IT systems for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and earned Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 3 certification for its standardized delivery processes.
