Before joining the company, he served as managing director and technology account lead at Accenture Federal Services, supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.

During his career, Frantzen also led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, including work supporting the recovery and continued evolution of HealthCare.gov.

What Is eSimplicity?

Founded in 2016, eSimplicity is a technology company that provides data modernization, enterprise systems transformation, spectrum engineering and management, AI and machine learning, and digital services to federal civilian, defense, intelligence and health agencies.

Frantzen’s appointment follows an executive leadership transition announced by eSimplicity days earlier to support growth initiatives. The company promoted Ed Benjamin to chief operating officer, while Nam Nguyen assumed the roles of president and acting chief growth officer.

The leadership changes also follow recent company milestones. In March, eSimplicity secured a multiyear contract from the National Institutes of Health to modernize IT systems for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 3 certification.
