ECC will carry out six construction projects encompassing hangar replacements, airfield aprons, taxiway, research and development facilities, air operations and traffic control facilities, a fire and rescue station and an advanced warfare hangar, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
All projects will use reinforced concrete, metal panel walls and steel vertical frames.
The task order has a $737.8M base value, 10 planned modifications and 24 additional options. Work under the potential extension periods will include structural updates to ensure seismic resiliency and implementing an electronic security system, audiovisual equipment and other additional utilities.
DoD expects contract services to be complete in November 2023.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command received one proposal for the task order and will use fiscal 2020 military construction funds to cover the initial obligated amount.
