Engility (NYSE: EGL) has won a potential five-year, $84.9 million contract from the U.S. Navy to help the Naval Air Systems Command conduct engineering assessment and technical baseline evaluation of various systems.
The company will also work to assess schedule, cost, emerging technology and design maturity across NAVAIR’s acquisition programs under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
Four offers were submitted to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division for the IDIQ via an electronic solicitation.
Contract work will take place in Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina through April 2023.
The Navy intends to obligate funds upon issuance of individual task orders.
