One of Gardner’s focus areas in his new role is growing the space sector influence of Aperio Global to drive innovation and strategies in line with broader national security objectives, the Reston, Virginia-based data transformation company said Friday.
Gardner also aims to expand Aperio Global’s portfolio with the addition of advanced space technologies and to drive next-generation space system development. His appointment to the company is expected to redefine its aerospace and defense market presence.
“Colonel Gardner’s track record of leadership and his extensive experience in space operations are superior,” said Earl Stafford, CEO of Aperio Global. “He is exceptionally qualified to lead our strategic initiatives in space operations. This will enhance our current offerings and further extend our market reach.”
Gardner’s military career includes time serving as USSF service chair to the National Defense University and senior liaison for European missile defense at the Missile Defense Agency.
“I look forward to advancing our strategic interests in space and bringing comprehensive security and operational excellence to our clients,” remarked Gardner.
