Elbit Systems (Nasdaq: ESLT) has received a potential four-year, $90 million contract to supply an Asia-Pacific country with SPECTRO XR electro-optic systems.
Bezhalel Machlis, president and CEO of Elbit Systems, said in a statement released Sunday the contract seeks to demonstrate the companys efforts to develop new systems designed to meet customers requirements.
SPECTRO XR is an intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance platform designed for integration with ground, naval, fixed- and rotary-wing platforms.
The system also has the Spectrox multi-spectral telescope, automated video tracker, thermal imager, laser pointer, dual cameras and laser designator rangefinder.
