The U.S. Army has awarded eight companies positions on a potential 10-year, $5B contract to provide desktop computers and other mobile computing systems for the service branch.
Army Contracting Command received 58 bids for the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing-3 contract vehicle, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The military branch will determine work locations and obligate funds upon award of each task order and expects work to conclude on Oct. 23, 2029.

A FedBizOpps notice says the ADMC-3 contract includes integrated desktop computers, tablets, notebooks, tablets, workstations, electronic displays, printers, thin clients and multifunction devices.
