Ed Meehan, formerly chief operating officer at Accentures (NYSE: ACN) federal services business, has joined management consulting services provider Guidehouse as aerospace and defense segment leader.
He will oversee the companys growth strategy and introduce innovative measures, commercial practices and new capabilities to the customer base, Guidehouse said Tuesday.
Meehans focus on people and culture aligns with our key principles and he will play an important strategic role in our future business growth, Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Meehan spent 27 years at Accenture, where he served as sales leader and head of safety and citizen services portfolio with a focus on law enforcement, diplomacy and homeland security agencies.
He is a member of the board of directors of The Womens Center, a nonprofit resource and counseling organization.
Guidehouse is PwCs former public sector business acquired by Veritas Capital in May 2018.
