ECS Federal has received a three-year, $85.4M contract to research and develop artificial intelligence algorithms for the U.S. Army.
The service branch’s contracting command received one bid for the R&D project through an online solicitation process, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Work will take place in Fairfax, Va., through Jan. 26, 2023.
Fairfax, Va.-based ECS is also working with the service branch to engineer machine learning and computer vision platforms under a $78.8M contract awarded in late 2018.
The company won a separate $484.7M contract in September last year to help the Army build an unclassified network.
