ECS Gets $87M Contract to Support Army Pay Management System; Tim Wilde Quoted

ECS has secured a potential four-year, $87M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support a U.S. Army program tasked to organize the service™s personnel and pay information.

The company said Wednesday it will be in charge of the development and sustainment of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army Project Management Office Support Services™ new and existing system capabilities.

Tim Wilde, senior vice president of science and engineering at ECS, said the Fairfax, Va.-based firm’s team of engineers, architects and acquisition employees will work to complete the deployment of new personnel and pay information management technologies to American service members.

IPPS-A leverages an enterprise resource planning software and agile development process to provide the Army and human resource heads access to consolidated data on employees and their compensation.

The Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems solicited for the contract.
