ECS will compete for task orders to provide information technology platforms and services for the Defense Department, service branches and other federal agencies under the potential 10-year, $17.5 billion Encore III contract the Defense Information Systems Agency awarded in November 2017.
The Encore III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers 19 performance areas that include enterprise IT planning and policy, cloud professional services, asset management, network support and test and evaluation, the company said Monday.
ENCORE III is DISAs premier contract vehicle open to a broad range of customers in the national security arena, said George Wilson, ECS president and CEO.
We are excited to win this important contract and will actively compete for upcoming task orders and help market the ENCORE III vehicle to external customers, added Wilson, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
ECS is one of the 20 companies that won spots on the full and open track of DISAs Encore III contract that has a five-year base period and five option years.
ASGN (NYSE: ASGN), formerly On Assignment, now operates ECS as a separate business segment after it completed its $775 million acquisition of the Fairfax, Virginia-based information technology services provider April 2.
