Enterprise Technical Assistance Services will provide technical support services to a Department of Energy project office that oversees environmental legacy cleanup efforts at Portsmouth and Paducah uranium enrichment sites under a potential $97.1M contract. The department announced the contract award in a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday.
E-TAS will help the DOE address human health and environmental risks posed by hazardous waste materials generated through previous operations at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Pike County, Ohio and the Paducah GDP in Kentucky.
The company will work with the PPPO management team to create a uranium disposition plan that will include updating the office’s inventory data and ensuring its current inventory management approach aligns with department policies and plans, according to the performance work statement.
