DynCorp International has won a $106.2 million contract to maintain and provide logistics services for aircraft and support equipment for the Naval Test Wing Atlantic.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday that DynCorp will provide organizational-level maintenance for all rotary, fixed, lighter-than-air and unmanned aircraft on-site.
Work will support project testing, transient aircraft, loaner aircraft, leased aircraft and tested civilian aircraft on behalf of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, Maryland.
DynCorp will also conduct supportability and safety studies, off-site aircraft safety and spill containment patrols, and aircraft recovery support services.
The U.S. Navy received two bids for the contract and obligated $5, 000 from its fiscal 2017 working capital funds at the time of award.
The company is scheduled to complete work in March 2018.
