DynCorp International has secured a $258M contract extension from the U.S. Army Sustainment Command to continue base life support and maintenance operations to aid over 18K U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
The 12-month task order supports the Army™s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV contract and requires DynCorp to manage facilities, sewage and waste, hazardous materials, airfield and movement control operations, container yards, and morale welfare and recreation programs, DynCorp said Friday.
Other logistics and operational support services include electrical power supply, water production, laundry operations, billeting, equipment handling, firefighting, transportation and food.

DynCorp™s logistics contract has a total value of $6.7B and runs for more than nine years.
