DynCorp International has received a potential seven-year, $1.7B task order to provide aviation maintenance services for the U.S. Navy’s T-6, T-34 and T-44 training aircraft, GovCon Wire has learned.
The award marks the company's second task order awarded through the Contracted Maintenance, Modification, Aircrew and Related Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
George Krivo, CEO of DynCorp and a two-time Wash100 award winner, said the award will ensure that the company will maintain its position as a leading aviation maintenance services provider for the Navy, U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard.
The task order has a one-year base term and six option years and includes intermediate, organizational and depot-level maintenance and logistics support for training aircraft used by the Navy and the Marine Corps.
Work will kick off on April 1 at naval air stations in Texas, Florida and other sites within the continental U.S. and is expected to run through September 2026 if all options are exercised.
