DynCorp International has won a potential 10-year, $1.43B contract from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to provide maintenance and logistics support services for the agency™s fleet of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
The award notice issued Friday on FedBizOpps states the company will support aircraft operating in 34 locations in the Western hemisphere.
CBP uses 211 aircraft to conduct smuggling detection, interdiction, tracking, apprehension, contingency operations and other national missions.
œThe acquisition of these services will ensure that the government has the numbers and types of properly configured aircraft available where and when required to meet operational commitments, the agency said in the FBO notice.
The contract has a one-year base period and nine option years.
