Draper Appoints Former General Dynamics Exec Mary Kim as VP, General Counsel

Mary Kim, former assistant general counsel and director at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was named as vice president and general counsel at Draper.

In a LinkedIn post, the nonprofit engineering innovation company also said Kim will serve as secretary of its board of directors and work from its Reston, Virginia office.

Kim also functioned as in-house counsel at General Dynamics’ information technology business unit. She was part of the legal team at CSRA before it was acquired by GDIT, and at Computer Sciences Corp., which is now DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC).

Prior to her legal career in the IT industry, Kim worked at two private law firms in Washington, D.C., for several years.

“We look forward to her guidance as we carry out our mission to support and defend democracy around the world by keeping this nation and our allies safe,” the Draper announcement reads.
