Craig Nixon, a 29-year U.S. Army veteran and former chief executive officer at Constellis, has joined investment firm Donovan Capital Group as a senior adviser.
DCG said Nixon joins other former military and government leaders who assist the company’s advisory practice in functions such as proprietary investment sourcing and operational due diligence.
The retired brigadier general is the current CEO of Nixon Six Solutions, a consulting firm he also established to focus on strategy, market-entry assessments, change management and mergers and acquisitions.
Nixon moved to the private sector after his retirement from military service in 2011. His industry career also includes time as partner at McChrystal Group and CEO of Academi, which merged with other security contractors to form Constellis Group in 2014.
He supports Team Red White and Blue and several other nonprofit organizations focused on assisting military veterans and also serves as an advisory board member at various companies such as BlackHorse Solutions.
