DMI has purchased Simplex Mobility for an undisclosed sum in a transaction that expands DMI’s presence in the managed mobility services market.
Rocky Thurston, chief operating officer of DMI, said in a statement released Tuesday the transaction will enable the company to offer a managed service offering meant to help clients monitor, transform and manage their inventory, assets and expenses through a seamless experience.
Simplex was established in 2011 and provides asset and expense management software, including MyServe platform that helps organizations automate management of fixed wireline and mobile devices, including tablets, phones and internet of things-based systems.
“It has always been our vision to give our customers an experience that meets them where they are in their digital journey. This combination helps us do that – and creates a powerful end-to-end solution for both commercial and government customers,” said DJ Oreb, president of managed services at DMI.
Founded in 2002, DMI is a Bethesda, Maryland-based portfolio company of OceanSound Partners and provides digital transformation and managed services to government and commercial clients.
