DMI has purchased Aurotech for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to broaden its technical capabilities in data and analytics, build up its portfolio of digital transformation services and expand its client base in federal markets.
Aurotech was founded in 2007 and provides application development, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, digital strategy and other modernization services to federal health care and civilian agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Trade Commission, DMI said Tuesday.
“Aurotech brings services and expertise in key areas that can accelerate the expansion of our business and our competency in delivering digital transformation services to everyone we serve today and tomorrow,” said Sunny Bajaj, founder and CEO of DMI.
G Squared Capital Partners acted as Aurotech’s financial adviser in the transaction. DMI’s legal counsel was Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Established in 2002, DMI is a Bethesda, Maryland-based portfolio company of OceanSound Partners and provides digital transformation, enterprise consulting and managed services to government and commercial customers.
