The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a potential $1.75 billion contract to provide consumable and depot-level repairable components for various weapon systems of the U.S. military.
Lockheed will perform work in Maryland, Georgia, Texas, New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey through June, 29, 2022, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The company will provide the weapon components to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
DLA will use fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2022 defense working capital, operations and maintenance funds to pay for contract work.
