DISA Seeks Booz Allen Engineering Support for Pentagon’s DEOS Cloud Transition

The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate with Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) a sole-source contract for engineering, programmatic and technical services intended to help the Department of Defense move forward on a cloud computing program.

DISA is asking the company to provide support services as the department aims to transition the $7.6 billion Defense Enterprise Office Solutions program from acquisition to implementation phase, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday.

The proposed award will cover design and development, integration, modification, testing and cloud migration services to support all DoD components that utilize non-classified and secret internet protocol router networks. Other contract services are business planning, process analysis and technical writing support.
