DISA Posts Solicitation for Individual Satellite-Based Services Task Orders

Defense Information Systems Agency has begun seeking proposals from industry sources capable of providing satellite-based products and services to the U.S. Space Force.

DISA is looking to acquire services, hardware and software at individual task order level under the potential 10-year, $900 million multiple-award contract vehicle for Proliferated Low Earth Orbit Satellite-Based Services, according to a notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov.

Individual task orders may include operational packaged PLEO services, operational customer-specific services, limited-use demonstrations of the contractor’s services and systems, and equipment required to utilize the service.

Interested parties have until May 31 to respond to the request for proposals.

In July, DISA selected 16 companies to provide satellite-based services to the U.S. military, federal agencies and international allies.

Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM), Honeywell‘s (NYSE: HON) aerospace business, AT&T (NYSE: T) and Lynk Global were added to the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in October.
