DFT designs and builds hardware and software platforms for use in tactical surveillance and force protection in support of government agencies’ missions, DC Capital said Thursday.
DFT CEO Justin MacLaurin said DC Capital’s leadership team, history in the government sector, strategic approach and experience growing businesses will improve DFT’s prospects.

Jeffrey Weber, a partner at DC Capital, said the firm looks forward to taking DFT’s expertise to a wider group of customers in the national security market.
Raymond James & Associates and DLA Piper respectively served as DFT’s financial and legal advisers in the transaction. Latham & Watkins advised DC Capital on the deal’s legal aspect.
