The U.S. Army veteran will oversee the company’s enterprise information technology strategies and manage efforts to elevate customer experience and service delivery for government customers, Maximus said Tuesday.
“The CDIO role supersedes the Chief Information Officer role and will leverage innovation and emerging technologies, like artificial intelligence and machine learning, to optimize business processes for our government partners,” said Bruce Caswell, President and CEO of Maximus and a four-time Wash100 awardee.
With over two decades of government technology experience, Pledger has implemented an upskilling program for CDIO personnel in emerging technologies, such as cloud and artificial intelligence.
Pledger held various roles of increasing responsibility during his 13-year career at Leidos, including director of digital modernization, VP of enterprise solution architecture and chief engineer for Army and intelligence programs.
