Debra Scheider, former president at GovCon sector consulting firm Guidestar Acquisition, has joined Engility (NYSE: EGL) to lead the government services provider’s contracts organization as a senior vice president.
Engility said Monday the 35-year industry veteran will report directly to CEO Lynn Dugle in her new role as contracts SVP and also brings experience in the intelligence and defense communities to the company.
Her government career includes 10 years of tenure as director of contracts and senior procurement executive at the National Reconnaissance Office, where she handled the agency’s acquisition planning, selection and execution functions.
She currently serves as member of the Procurement Round Table and the board of directors for the National Contract Management Association.
Scheider is a recipient of the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal and NRO’s Gold Medal for Distinguished Performance.
