Deborah Sutton, a more than two-decade human resource veteran, has taken the role of vice president for HR at Reston, Virginia-based systems integrator iGov.
Sutton's responsibilities include ensuring company policies and practices comply with legal and ethical standards and driving development and execution of HR efforts to align them with the company's corporate strategy, iGov said Tuesday.
She will lead iGov's HR team in implementing company benefits and carrying out strategic hiring efforts. Sutton will also provide advice to the senior management team.
Her career includes time at SmartHR, HR Innovative Consulting, Helios HR and TPO Inc.
