Deborah Golden, a principal with Deloitte & Touche, has been named head of the U.S. cyber practice within the companys risk and financial advisory business.
She succeeds Ed Powers, a principal with Deloitte & Touche who assumed the role of offerings and services leader within the risk and financial advisory business, the company said Thursday.
Golden brings to the role over 25 years of information technology experience spanning across government and public services, financial services and life sciences and health care. She previously served as cyber, empowered well-being and advisory market offering leader within Deloittes government and public services practice and played a role in the development of the companys Cybersphere destination.
We are at the forefront of helping clients to navigate the complexity around issues such as interconnectivity, data governance as both an asset and a liability, the shifting threat landscape and the future of detection and response while at the same time managing enterprise risk and addressing the burgeoning cyber talent gap,” said Golden.
She noted that the cyber practice, which employs over 4.2K cyber professionals, will address such challenges through innovation and collaboration and help clients meet their goals and missions.
