She will directly report to Stevan Slijepcevic, president and CEO of Cubic and a 2022 Wash100 Award winner, and will oversee the company’s talent acquisition and management functions, HR systems, public relations, corporate communications and global business services and help shape and advance Cubic’s diversity and inclusion strategy, the company said Monday.
Slijepcevic said Cegielski’s experience leading organizational transformation will be key as the company continues to strengthen and improve the employee experience and organizational capabilities.
“Deb will also play a key role in providing strategic direction of our people and culture functions across our global businesses,” he added.
Cegielski most recently served as chief HR officer at Velocity Vehicle Group. She also held senior HR leadership roles at OSI Systems, XLA, Ametek and United Technologies Corp., which now operates as Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX).
