Dave Webb Named GALT Aerospace President, COO

Dave Webb, former vice president of programs at CAES, has joined GALT Aerospace as president and chief operations officer of the San Diego-based defense contractor.

GALT said Monday Webb, building on his more than three decades of leadership experience in program management and product development, will oversee and optimize the company’s operations and drive its strategic initiatives to support continued growth and expansion in the market.

Commenting on Webb’s appointment, GALT CEO and Founder John Kohut said, “He is an accomplished leader in product development, production management, and business strategy. As GALT Aerospace is poised to achieve greater levels of capability and performance, I am confident that Dave will be a major contributor to our culture and our success.”

Dave Webb’s Career Highlights

According to Webb’s LinkedIn profile, the aerospace and defense executive worked at CAES and its former Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions brand for over eight years before joining GALT. His other previous roles there included vice president of programs and strategy, VP of business development for advanced technology and strategy, and program management director.

Notably, Webb served at Raytheon for more than a decade. At the defense contractor, he held roles of increasing responsibilities such as integrated product team lead, technical director for ship controls and associate director for ship integration and fleet services programs.

Webb’s career also includes time working at NASSCO, Nautronix and Titan Scan Technologies.
