Recorded Future has landed a $50M production-other transaction agreement with U.S. Cyber Command to help federal customers analyze threats in real time.
The company said Thursday it will also produce commercial threat reports to aid Cybercom personnel in managing and securing the Department of Defense Information Network.
Cybercom finalized the contract after the Boston-based security firm completed a prototype OTA with the Defense Innovation Unit.
"The DIU team was a true partner throughout this process, from prototype to production," said Christopher Ahlberg, co-founder and CEO of Recorded Future.
"They've helped to reinforce bridges between private and public organizations, empowering those on the front lines of cyber defense to act quickly with the context they need to make critical decisions," Ahlberg added.
Recorded Future developed and patented a technology that uses machine learning and works to automate data collection and analysis processes for risk management initiatives.
