She succeeds David Adams, who retired from his role as executive chairman but will continue to serve on Curtiss-Wright’s board as a member, the company said Friday.
Bamford said she looks forward to advancing Curtiss-Wright’s Pivot to Growth strategy and that the board is confident about the company’s potential to achieve operating income, free cash flow and revenue growth and deliver value to shareholders over the long term.
Bamford, a previous Wash100 awardee, was named president and CEO of Curtiss-Wright in January 2021.
She has been with Curtiss-Wright since 2004 and has held roles of increasing responsibility, including president of defense and power segments, senior vice president and general manager of defense solutions division and VP and GM of embedded computing business. She has over three decades of operational experience across aerospace, defense and commercial sectors.
