Cubic’s (NYSE: CUB) GATR Technologies business has received a potential five-year, $99.4M task order to continue to provide engineering support services for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Unified Video Dissemination System.
A notice published Friday says the follow-on, sole-source award has a base term of 12 months, four option years and a six-month extension option and includes software support and field service personnel to help maintain DISA’s existing UVDS software.
UVDS is an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platform that integrates data from service branches, commands and agencies and facilitates the delivery of ISR data to support situational awareness, intelligence exploitation and contingency operations.
DISA will fund the base year using operations and maintenance funds for fiscal year 2020.
Cubic acquired GATR Technologies in December 2015.
