The company said Monday it will produce instrumentable-multiple integrated laser engagement system individual weapon systems for the Army™s program executive office for simulation, training and instrumentation.
œWe are pleased to be able to provide ongoing support to the U.S. Army™s PEO STRI to help ensure readiness now and for the unknown next mission, said Bill Toti, president of Cubic’s global defense segment.
The weapon systems are part of the service’s home-station training program that aims to give users realistic environments for exercise scenarios.
The system works to detect hits and assess casualties in order to simulate combat and record data.
