CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) has received a potential five-year, $180 million contract from the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity to provide information technology, scientific and administrative support for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program.
CDMRP is a funding organization that oversees more than $1 billion in annual investments in support of military medical, cancer, injury, and other biomedical research efforts, CSRA said Thursday.
The Falls Church, Virginia-based company will receive and evaluate research grant applications as well as provide maintenance support for CDMRP’s online portal for biomedical research applications - eBRAP – under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The IDIQ contract also covers recruitment and training of clinicians and scientists to serve as members of grant review panels and logistics assistance to panel members.
CSRA said it will leverage its P2RMIS peer review platform in order to support the program’s grant application assessment process through the contract.
