Crowley‘s government services business has secured a U.S. Transportation Command contract modification with a $239.5 million face value for freight services.
The Department of Defense said Monday Crowley Government Services will continue providing surface transportation coordination services within the continental U.S. and Canada and supporting the Defense Freight Transportation Services program.
Contract work is expected to assist the Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Contract Management Agency and Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk.
The award raises the cumulative value of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-priced contract with economic-price-adjustment to approximately $2.23 billion.
Other Crowley contracts with TRANSCOM
Crowley Government Services secured a $613.3 million IDIQ contract in July to perform Freight All Kinds services within the continental U.S., Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada. The base period of performance is from Aug. 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.
In 2023, the company also received a $480 million economic adjustment under an existing contract to continue coordinating surface freight shipping operations for DOD activities.
