Core4ce Taps Board Adviser Neill Tipton as VP of NCR Growth

Core4ce, a company offering defense technology and professional services, has appointed Neill Tipton as vice president of National Capital Region growth. The move expands Tipton’s role after serving on the company’s board of advisers since 2024, the company said Wednesday.

Who Is Neill Tipton?

Tipton brings 45 years of experience in intelligence operations, policy and oversight to the role. Before joining Core4ce, he held several senior positions at the Department of War, most recently serving as special adviser for strategic integration and competition to the under secretary of war for intelligence and security.

Earlier, Tipton spent nearly seven years as director of defense intelligence for collection and special programs after serving in multiple leadership roles within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security. His portfolio included clandestine operations, mission integration, geospatial intelligence, signals intelligence support, cyber, technical collection and information sharing.

Tipton also held leadership positions at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He retired from the U.S. Army after a 20-year career as a signals intelligence specialist.

What Will Tipton Do at Core4ce?

Tipton will oversee growth initiatives across the National Capital Region, strengthening customer engagement and expanding Core4ce’s advanced technology, research and development and mission capabilities. The move aligns with the company’s expansion into engineering labs, scientific, engineering and technical assistance and innovation programs such as The Forge and its Autonomy, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lab.

Core4ce CEO Mike Morehouse said Tipton’s understanding of mission priorities, stakeholders and opportunities, combined with his leadership experience, will help the company expand its regional presence and deliver more of its differentiated capabilities to defense and intelligence customers.
