A Constellis subsidiary has been awarded a five-year, $75M contract for security, counterterrorism, fire protection and mail room services to a U.S. Army ammunition factory in Missouri.
Centerra is scheduled to commence support work at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in October and will collaborate with Olin Winchester, which leads LCAAP modernization and maintenance efforts, Constellis said Friday.
The 4K-acre factory has produced small-caliber ammunition for the U.S. military since 1941.
Centerra, which has supported the manufacturing facility over the past 11 years, was tasked to continue providing services at the site due to its work performance on an existing contract with Olin Winchester.
