A business unit of Comtech Telecommunications (Nasdaq: CMTL) has won a potential three-year, $123.6 million contract to help the U.S. Army sustain ground-based very small satellite terminals.
Comtech said Monday the command and control technologies group of its government solutions arm will sustain the Army’s AN/TSC-198A secret internet protocol router and non-classified internet protocol router access point VSATs.
Fred Kornberg, Comtech president and CEO, said the company secured the contract from the service branch after a competitive solicitation process.
The Army obligated $3.1 million in initial funds and plans to obligate additional funds throughout the performance period.
