Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) subsidiary, has secured a potential 10-year, $196.6 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply the U.S. Army with various tactical airborne navigation systems spare parts.
DLA Land and Maritime awarded the contract on a sole source basis and will fund the procurement effort using the Army’s working capital funds for fiscal 2024 through 2029, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The contract has a five-year base period with five option years.
Rockwell Collins, which merged with the aerospace systems division of the former United Technology Corp. to form Collins Aerospace in 2018, originally received a five-year, $93 million IDIQ in August 2016 to supply spare parts for various tactical navigation systems to DLA and the Army.
