Jamil Hermes, a more than two-decade business development and program management professional, has joined Cognosante as chief growth officer. He will help develop and introduce growth strategies and lead the companys capture and business development teams in support of growth initiatives, Cognosante said Wednesday.
Jamils knowledge of the federal, state, and local government markets will position us well to meet our customers emerging needs and further our shared goal of healthcare modernization and improvement of overall citizen wellness programs, said James Gordon, president of Cognosante.
Hermes most recently worked at OptumServe as senior vice president and chief growth officer. Prior to OptumServe, he held senior leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corp., Teradata (NYSE: TDC) and NCR (NYSE: NCR).
