Christopher Noone, formerly head of the public sector independent software vendor business of Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), has joined Fonteva as vice president of business development.
Noone will be responsible for the company’s endeavor to increase revenue for emerging product lines, Fonteva said Monday.
Jerry Huskins, CEO of Fonteva, said Noone’s experience at Salesforce will help the company’s efforts to expand both in its existing membership space and into new horizontal markets.
The two-decade product development and sales veteran previously served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at GreenShoots Distribution and was a member of General Electrics (NYSE: GE) Experienced Commercial Leadership Program.
Before he re-joined the private sector, Noone served as staff sergeant, platoon sergeant and vehicle commander for the U.S. Marine Corps between 2003 and 2007.
Noone also held the roles of national accounts manager at ArchiTag and special projects manager and executive director at Graphic Communications Association.
He founded XML software development and consulting firm Noonetime Inc. prior to joining the Marine Corps.
