AUSA said Tuesday Kubasik would succeed William Brown, who recently retired as chairman of L3Harris, and Colbert would replace Leanne Caret, former president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, on the association’s board.
Kubasik, Brown and Caret are previous Wash100 awardees.
The association’s board also reelected four existing members for additional three-year terms, which took effect July 1.
They are Phebe Novakovic, chairman and CEO of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and a 2022 Wash100 Award winner; Mark Roualet, executive vice president for combat systems at General Dynamics; Andy Hove, managing director for the Horisonter Group; and Mitch Snyder, president and CEO of Bell.
The three newly elected members to AUSA’s board were Jim Cannon, president and CEO of AM General; Bob Tyrer, co-president of the Cohen Group; and Kenneth Preston, a retired U.S. Army sergeant major.
