He will oversee DLT’s daily operations and Tech Data’s public sector strategy, DLT said Thursday.
Marty Bauerlein, senior vice president of sales for North America at Tech Data, said Wilkinson brings to the role his experience in turning DLT into a leading cloud and software aggregator in the public sector market and expanding the subsidiary’s capabilities across cloud, cybersecurity, big data and analytics and business applications, among other tech domains.
Wilkinson most recently served as SVP of sales at DLT. Prior to DLT, he worked at immixGroup with oversight of the company’s IT infrastructure, enterprise mobility, cloud, big data and analytics and cybersecurity capabilities.
Tech Data announced in December that it closed its acquisition of DLT for approximately $205M in cash.
