Chad Thyes, a more than 10-year veteran of General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, has been named general manager and senior vice president of the civilian health unit at Cognosante.
He will concurrently lead the J.Lodge business group in efforts to expand quality assurance and performance analytics offerings for government or commercial call centers, Cognosante said Thursday.
Thyes worked at Washington, D.C.-based company Missionside as VP of operations after serving as program VP at General Dynamics IT, where he managed the unit’s business process outsourcing and customer engagement services.
His corporate career also includes management roles at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), SRA International and Qwest Communications.
Falls Church, Va.-based Cognosante works with government agencies to help them create, manage and implement health information programs.
