The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Passenger Systems Program Directorate, or CBP PSPD, has issued a notice soliciting industry feedback on potential companies for the Traveler Processing and Vetting Software, or TPVS, 2.0 contract, estimated to be worth over $100 million.
Scope of Traveler Processing and Vetting Software 2.0 Contract
According to the request for proposal issued on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System Friday, the selected contractor will manage the procurement of end-to-end life cycle services for the TVPS applications suite and its specialized equipment for the CBP PSPD and other Office of Information and Technology directorates.
The company will handle software application services, including technology, modernization, and cloud migration. The OIT aims to leverage these TVPS application support services to boost its modernization efforts and achieve cloud migration by 2025. It requires operations and management, or O&M, services to maintain its software applications and equipment securely.
The potential contractor will be provided with government-furnished equipment, or GFE, hosted on the CBP’s network infrastructure for TPVS application support services. It will have access to CBP-maintained development and support tools, including security, development, and operations, or SecDevOps, pipeline toolsets. Subject to the CBP’s approval, the contractor can suggest additional tools that can be utilized for the project.
The contract is expected to be awarded in the first quarter of 2026 and the completion date is set for June 30, 2026.
