Cardinal Health, Owens & Minor Get 3.4B in DLA IDIQ Modifications for Medical-Surgical Product Distribution

Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor secured contract modifications worth 3.38B combined to distribute medical-surgical supplies to U.S. military and federal civilian customers.

DLA exercised the initial option under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that has 30 base months plus three 30-month options, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The agency will finance orders with defense working capital funds for fiscal 2020 through fiscal 2023.

Work under the exercised option runs through June 6, 2022, and covers global ordering and distribution services.

The U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard are the military users of the contract.
