Troy Meraw, manager for quantum public sector sales at Carahsoft Technology, said quantum computing is becoming increasingly important to government missions, from cybersecurity and encryption modernization to advanced computing and sensing applications.
In a blog post published on Carahsoft’s website, he highlighted key events beginning in June that will bring together government leaders, researchers and technology providers to discuss quantum innovation, post-quantum cryptography and emerging mission applications.
What Is Quantum Tech World 2026?

Quantum Tech World 2026 will bring together policymakers, researchers and industry executives to explore developments in quantum computing, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
One featured session, Aerospace & Defense: Mission-Critical Quantum Innovation, will examine how quantum technologies are advancing sensing, navigation and secure communications capabilities for defense and aerospace missions.
According to Meraw, several Carahsoft partners, including IBM, QuintessenceLabs and Classiq, are expected to participate in the event.
