CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has won a potential five-year, $125.3M contract from the U.S. Navy to help Military Sealift Command operate and manage business information technology systems and interfaces with the branch’s enterprise defense business platforms.
The Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday CACI’s enterprise solutions business will also support MSC in efforts to consolidate command systems into a single platform in accordance with government audit, cybersecurity, cloud migration and interoperability requirements.
The contract has an initial value of $26.2 million over a one-year period that runs through Dec. 31, 2019 and work could extend for an additional four years if all options are exercised.
The obligated amount of $19.7M at the time of award is from the Navy and Transportation Command’s fiscal 2019 working capital funds.
MSC received four offers for the contract via a solicitation process on the CIO-SP3 website managed by the National Institutes of Health’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center.
